Do you install fire water pumps at plants?
Yes. For refineries, chemical plants and power plants, PPS supplies, installs, starts up and performance tests Peerless fire water pumps to the plant's own specifications, and repairs or replaces existing units of any brand.
Can you overhaul an existing fire water pump instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. We tear down, inspect and report the as-found condition, then quote repair and replacement side by side so you can choose.
Which drivers do you supply?
Electric motors, diesel engines and right angle gear drives. Vertical turbine fire pumps can also be driven by steam turbines or combination drives.
Are Peerless fire pumps UL listed and FM approved?
Peerless horizontal fire pumps are built to NFPA 20, UL 448 listed and FM 1311 approved. Vertical turbine and in-line models also carry UL and FM listings.
